Bolanle Austen-Peters Productions will on Sunday March 1, 2020 premiere its latest production, titled ‘Alhaji’ at the Terra Kulture Arena, in Victoria Island, Lagos.
‘Alhaji’ examines the rarely discussed issue of how sexual dysfunction of various types affect men.
It follows the story of ‘Alhaji’, a sexually active polygamist who suddenly discovers that he has become numb sexually. He cannot disclose anyone, not even to any of his wife due to pride. In a desperate bid to find a solution, he is caught in a web of intrigues that threatens his home.
Written and directed by veteran thespian, Bimbo Manuel, ‘Alhaji’ invites audiences to laugh as it discusses a serious matter affecting marriages and relationships.
The play stars Monalisa Chinda-Coker, Hilda Dokubo, Bimbo Manuel, Funmi Awelewa, and Yinka Akanbi.
The show will continue to run at the Terra Kulture Arena every Sunday throughout March.
