After a brief hiatus from the movie industry to pursue other endeavours, award-winning filmmaker, Dickson Iroegbu, has staged a grand comeback into the film industry with another blockbuster titled ‘The Good Husband’.
The movie which features Sam Dede, Monalisa Chinda, Francis Duru, Thelma Okoduwa-Ojiji, Paul Sambo and Bassey Ekpo Bassey, x-rays the relationship between a man and woman in a marital union. It depicts a situation where one of the couples in the union feels he or she has figured out what makes a happy home, only to realise it takes a lifetime to unravel what truly works in marriage.
Iroegbu disclosed that ‘The Good Husband’ will hit the cinemas in April, and will be further exhibited in Churches and Mosques and through other available distribution channels.
“I took a little break from film making to pursue other dreams, but what many did not know was that I was also working on huge film projects in the background, one of such work is The Good Husband ad it will hit the cinemas from April 2020” he said.
Iroegbu is one of the prominent movie directors Nollywood has and he has produced and directed more than 20 movies such as, Women’s Cot, Critical Condition, Unfaithful, Romantic Attraction and The Mayors, which earned him Best Picture, Best Screenplay and Best Director at African Movie Academy Awards, AMAA, before his latest movie ‘The Good Husband’ which is from the stable of Teamwork Studios Limited.
