Launched in 2018 as part of efforts to strengthen ties with young film enthusiasts and also breathe new life into the festival, ‘3 Days in Cannes’ accreditation is now open for the 2020 Cannes Film Festival.
The ‘3 Days in Cannes’ youth pass grants participants (between the ages of 18 and 28 years old) access to the Official Selection, Palace of Festivals and Conferences as well as a dedicated program during the last three days of the fest.
Like last year’s, the 73rd edition of the fest will run the ‘3 Days in Cannes’ on two occasions between May 13 – 15 and May 21 – 23.
The 2019 edition enabled more than 2,800 passionate young attendees to enjoy the festival and gather around a common passion.
In a bid to encourage career development, the Festival aims to increase the impact of the programme through events and masterclasses.
To qualify for accreditation, participants must be between 18 and 28 years old and are expected to describe their love for cinema through writing.
The festival is scheduled to kickoff on May 12, 2020.
