Tenacity A Contemporary Art Exhibition Debuts At Terra Kulture

“Tenacity” a group art exhibition has found a home at the Terra Kulture Art Gallery, Lagos since Saturday as the new exhibition opens to the club.

Some of the artists whose artworks are being exhibited include Lekan Onabanjo, Fidelis Eze Odogwu, Damola Adepoju, Chika Idu, Tayo Olayode, Taiwo George Taylor, Gabriel Jideonwo, Umeh Bede, Porter Ajay, James Amuta, and Suraj Adekola.

Others are Yakubu Yahaya, Raji Mohammed, Olamilekan Abatan, Olukoy Ifeoluwa, Bolaji Ogunwo, Robert Oniha and Alex Peter.

According to a statement from the organizers, art lovers are invited to participate in the exhibition to have a feel of the creativity and resilience of the Nigerian artist in the face of the pandemic.

“Tenacity” is a rich blend of paintings, drawings, mixed media art, sculpture, photography, and graphic art.

It is an expression of the creativity and resilience of the Nigerian artist in the face of insurmountable odds Vis a Vis the current state of the art industry due to the pandemic.

This exhibition consists of a thought-provoking collection of art in various media, on a plethora of subject matters aimed at holding a mirror to modern-day society in all its chaotic beauty and flawed perfection’ the statement said.

The exhibition will run till Sunday, March 8 at Terra Kulture Gallery amidst strict adherence to all COVID 19 protocols.
