Veteran Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, will again take up his famous comic role in a new flick, ‘Osuofia Goes To Miami’ slated for release next year.

The film, TCN gathered, will be produced by Play Network Studios. It will be shot in Miami, USA, and directed by Agozie Ugwu.

CEO of Play Network Studios, Charles Okpaleke, shared the film’s poster on Instagram and captioned it: “One thing I can assure you is when cinemas return, we’ve got it all lined up for the viewers till 2023! It’s called back to back!

“Let’s tell our stories the right way.”

The critically-acclaimed ‘Osuofia in London’, released in 2003, was produced and directed by ace filmmaker, Kingsley Ogoro.

It chronicled the story of Osuofia who arrives in London straight from his village in Africa after he inherited the estate of his deceased brother who had made a fortune after leaving their village for London many years before.

Owoh played the lead role in the film which was a box office hit. The film earned him the sobriquet, Osuofia.
