Port-Harcourt city is set for an exciting celebration of fashion, creativity and culture as Urban Fashion Week 2026. The Basement Edition takes over the prestigious Garden City Mall (Basement) on July 4th and 5th, 2026, with activities commencing promptly at 4:00 PM each day.

The two-day fashion showcase will feature exclusive Summer Collections from top designers in the urban fashion sector, including FLO Apparels, VOWI, Jazz Effect, Saint Cotterell, Omos Fashion, and Moora Afrika. Renowned for their distinctive aesthetics and commitment to pushing the boundaries of contemporary African fashion, the designers will present fresh, innovative collections that reflect the vibrancy, creativity and evolution of urban fashion.

More than a retail destination, Garden City Mall has established itself as one of Port Harcourt’s foremost lifestyle hubs, bringing together shopping, fashion, entertainment and community under one roof. The mall has become a destination where people connect, discover brands, celebrate creativity and enjoy memorable experiences. Through initiatives like Urban Fashion Week, Garden City Mall continues to champion local talent while creating meaningful opportunities for brands and businesses to engage with a wider audience.

Under the visionary leadership of Mr Sunny Chawla, the Garden City Mall team has successfully ushered the mall into a new era of retail growth and innovation. By consistently introducing lifestyle-driven projects and community-focused experiences, the team has significantly increased visitor traffic, enhanced brand visibility for retailers and strengthened Garden City Mall’s reputation as one of the South-South’s premier retail and lifestyle destinations.

Adding even more excitement to this year’s edition, Lush Hair joins the event as the Official Hair Sponsor. At the same time, MAC Cosmetics comes on board as the Official Makeup Sponsor, ensuring every runway presentation is brought to life with world-class hair artistry and beauty. Jägermeister further elevates the experience, the Official Beverage Sponsor, which will close each evening with an energetic Rave Experience, giving guests the perfect blend of fashion, music and nightlife in one unforgettable celebration.

Urban Fashion Week 2026 promises two evenings of exceptional runway presentations, music, creativity and culture, bringing together designers, fashion lovers, shoppers, media professionals and industry stakeholders to celebrate the very best of urban fashion. Beyond the runway, the event reflects the growing strength of Port Harcourt’s creative economy and Garden City Mall’s continued investment in experiences that inspire, connect and elevate the city’s fashion community.

Members of the public are invited to witness these outstanding designers unveil their latest Summer Collections in an atmosphere where fashion meets lifestyle, community and innovation.

The event is proudly packaged by style today production.
