BBNaija: Ka3na, Lilo Become First Evicted Housemates

After two weeks in the house, Ka3na and Lilo, on Sunday evening became the first housemates to be evicted from the BBNaija ‘Lockdown’ edition.

The controversial but popular reality tv show took an interesting turn when eviction powers were technically, temporarily taken away from the viewers. This left contestants who were up for eviction at the mercy of their fellow housemates.

The host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, further shocked the house when he announced that it was going to be a double eviction.
He said this after unveiling Lilo, Eric, Ka3na, and Praise as the least voted housemates of the week who were up for possible eviction.

Big Brother had earlier announced that this year, all housemates except head of the house and the deputy would be up for eviction every week.

This meant that Eric, Ka3na, Lilo and Praise had to rely on good luck and their relationship with fellow housemates to remain in the house. The voting session began with BrightO who voted Eric and Ka3na to be evicted.

However, majority of the housemates eventually voted out Ka3na and Lilo thereby becoming the first two to exit the ‘Lockdown’ show.

When asked on the stage how she felt about her eviction, Ka3na said: “I’m having mixed feelings but I’m glad that I made it this far.”

According to her, the main purpose of being on the show was to sell her name and she could only be grateful for the opportunity.

On the other hand, Lilo who thrilled viewers with her amorous relationship with fellow housemate, Eric, expressed surprise that she had been evicted but when asked what she felt was the reason behind her eviction, she said she had no idea, as she was only being herself throughout her time on the show.

Going forward, she said she would focus more on her business and she would also be going for a Master’s degree.

The winner of this year’s edition of the reality TV show will walk away with ₦85 million grand prize, the biggest cash reward so far in the she’s five-year existence.
