Asake Reportedly Departs YBNL, Parts Ways With Olamide

The social media is currently buzzing with reports that Nigerian music star, Asake, has parted ways with YBNL record, owned by Olamide.

According to reports online, Asake’s contract with Olamide’s YBNL expired and when Olamide presented Asake with a new contract, which he rejected.

All efforts by Olamide to convince him to sign proved abortive.

The report claimed that two weeks ago, Asake walked out completely from the deal and rather chose to be his own boss. This has left Olamide searching for new artists.

The news has left many divided as while some praised Asake, others slammed Olamide.
