There is yet another drama involving Annie Macaulay-Idibia, the controversial wife of Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.
The latest drama involves Wisdom Macauley, elder brother of the Nollywood actress and model, who has called his sister, Annie, 37, out on social media over alleged enslavement and drug use.
Wisdom, a married man with three kids, claimed that when he was working for Annie she refused to pay him. Instead, she would send stipends of ₦20,000 and ₦30,000 randomly.
He added that anytime the mother of two was displeased with him, she would stop giving him money altogether, blaming her for his inability to pay his wife’s bride price.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Wisdom accused Annie of being a drug user, selfish and wicked.
He said: “Annie introduced me to hard drugs. Annie is a drug addict. She takes it every day. She’s so violent.
“And it is the same way she doesn’t have peace with anybody. She quarrels with everybody. She fights everybody.
“She wouldn’t give me a car. I’ve been begging my sister for a car for many years to start Uber business, for many years now, so that I can at least, on my own, provide for my family, provide for my wife and my three children. My sister has never responded to me.
“She offered me (sic) to be her manager but at the end of the day, she turned me to be her errand boy, to a slave.
“Annie is evil, she doesn’t want me to be able to stand on my own.
“Every slight opportunity she will call my wife and insult her. She insults everybody. She’s violent. Every night she’s on drug, every day she’s on drug.”
This is not the first time the actress has been called out by a family member. Last year, her brother-in-law called her out for making life difficult for her husband (2Baba) and equally accused her of being a substance user.
Also, another brother of hers, Uduak, similarly called her out on social media and public disowned her, citing her selfish and wicked ways and lies against her husband.
Annie had caused a turmoil in 2021 when she called her husband out, claiming that he was still sleeping over in his ex girlfriend and mother of three of his children, Pero.
Responding to the latest allegations leveled against her in a lengthy Instagram post, Annie accused her elder brother of being irresponsible.
The actress revealed that their disagreement started after she refused to make Wisdom her manager, a position she wasn’t comfortable with.
She also stated that she has been responsible for the upkeep of his family for a very long time.
According to her, Wisdom had on several occasions threatened to commit suicide for no reasons, just to blackmail her for money.
The post reads: “Oh Wizy….why big bro why…
Wisdom….why all these lies against your ONLY sister…your younger sister? All I ever do is protect you and your kid.
“Since we grew up bro, have you ever paid for house rent in your entire life? You live in a three bedroom flat fully furnished with everything you need for you and your kids.
“Wisdom you have three kids, have you ever paid for their school fees since they were born? Your eldest is 9 years. Since your wife started making babies have you ever paid for hospital bills for any of your kids? Have you ever paid school fees?
“Oh Wizy how many cars have I bought for you since God started blessing me! You say you work for me…how? Where? After dad died the car I had bought for him, I told u to service the jeep but you sold the car without telling me. All I have was love you and your kids. Every Xmas I make sure they all get something new.
“I even make sure your wife isn’t aware. How many times have I given you millions Wizy, how many times? But you are way too irresponsible, because I don’t have the heart to watch your kids go hungry. Keep blackmailing me that you will kill yourself, I have receipts on my online banking and proof!
“Why do you want to destroy this little careeer I have worked so hard to make. Thiis is where I make 80percent of my money. Same money I use to send your kids to school, pay ur rent, all your hospital bills. Why would you want to destroy your own sister?”.
She added, “Just yesterday, your wife called crying they sent your kids hom for school bus, money that I already gave you since. I paid straight to the school. You wanted to be my manager and I said “I am sorry I don’t think it’s something you can do till you get the help you need.
“You took two different loans from banks. I had to pay for you just so it doesn’t get out of this space. What more can a sister do? I have my family too I hate all these lies! I am at the peak of my career! Pls bro…why these lies?
“I have so many voice notes from your wife. I won’t disgrace you and put it out here. I am tired. Do as you like. The universe will protect me, my hard work, my kids, my family. Let the world believe anything. My name is Annie. I am not the lies you are saying. I work damn hard. I am not lazy! Entitlement, wow bro! I wish u well”.
Reacting on his Instagram Story, 2Baba defended his wife, adding that sometimes family members can be worst enemies.
“It’s funny how some people react when you tell them the truth. Even I am guilty of it sometimes, but that is no excuse. I pray for Wisdom.
“May Allah guide our path. One love from me and Annie. Respect to family but sometimes, some family is your worst enemy,” he wrote.
