The trio of Blessings Ikechukwu (@nemelu_juanita2), Diala Kingsley (@badboyzigi), and Jennifer Offiah (@skira_j) has emerged as the winners of the maiden edition of the #TheBUZZrChallenge and #TheBUZZrTalentshow.

The talent show put together by Star Enzymes Events & Promotions Limited, held the prize presentation ceremony in Lagos on Sunday, November 15, 2020.

Tagged #TheBUZZrChallenge and #TheBUZZrTalentshow on Instagram, started on October 1, 2020, and saw a variety of young people posting videos of themselves, exhibiting their many special abilities.

The rule of the competition stated that the entries with the highest number of comments would be selected as winners. As a result, on October 29, three contestants, Blessings Ikechukwu (@nemelu_juanita2), Diala Kingsley (@badboyzigi), and Jennifer Offiah (@skira_j), with videos grossing 14022, 11400, and 5,531 comments respectively, emerged as the top three entrants and thus winners of the competition.

In a brief address by the Star Enzymes’ CEO, Fadeke Omo-Omorodion, she said that “the main aim of the #theBUZZrchallenge 1.0 was to create awareness for the brand. However, our long-term goal is to source for and create a pool of talents for the entertainment industry. In doing this, the talents will leverage the strength of the brand as a launching pad.”

The highlight of the event was the presentation of the cheque and branded throw pillows by the award-winning music artist, Panshak Zamani, popularly known as Ice Prince.

According to Ice Prince, “Platforms like The BUZZr help to provide the necessary support for upcoming talents and should be encouraged. This is a wonderful beginning and it shows that there’s so much more to the company called Star Enzymes.”

The ceremony also featured a special recognition category for two outstanding talents in the entries submitted by a four-year-old @Zara_Say1 and an iconic medical student cum creative artist @Darlington_3D.
