The ‘Dey’ tour was relived at the Shrine as lovers of Afrobeat music were entertained to the utmost, even as the musician, Seun waltzed lyrically and showcased sterling qualities of a professional musician who knows his onions.

Seun, the scion of the Afrobeat legend along with the iconic Egypt 80 Band, entertained the audience at the Shrine From 7pm until the early hours of 4am as fans experienced a potpourri of great music laced with cultural elements, and a united front rallying Africans to know their source and roots and not to be intimidated by the glory and whims in other climes.

He brought his powerful Afrobeat rhythms and socially conscious lyrics to the legendary venue founded by his father, Fela Kuti.
