Romania will participate from Wednesday to October 20 in the 76th edition of the Frankfurt Book Fair.
“For five days, the latest Romanian titles, meetings of professionals, books with foreign partners, releases of new translations in German, discussions on literary topics and many other interesting moments will fill the agenda of this edition, which promises to be a successful one,” the Culture Ministry wrote in a social media post.
The novelty of this year is the Black Sea Literary Festival, an event that is part of the strategy of the Ministry of Culture in recent years to bring the literary markets neighbouring Romania closer, where representatives of cultural organisations from Bulgaria, Georgia, Turkey, Ukraine and Romania are expected to participate.
Visitors are waiting throughot Sunday, October 20, with a generous offer of books that they can purchase from the space mounted by Librariria diasporaciteste.eu, the traditional partner of the Culture Ministry.
