Nollywood Veteran Actor Emmanuel France Is Dead

Veteran Nollywood actor, Emmanuel France is dead.

France while in the movie industry was celebrated for his roles in films such as Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister and The Director.

The death of the actor was confirmed through Nigerian filmmaker, Femi Ogedengbe, in a post on his Instagram page on Monday, expressing sadness and recalling their fond memories together.

He wrote, “Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France.

“One of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. We shot three movies together: Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister and The Director. R.I.P.”

As of the time of this report, the cause of France’s death remains unconfirmed.

France’s death comes a days after Nollywood actor, Big Larry passed away.

Famous movie producer, Stanley Ontop confirmed the news of his death via his official Instagram page.

“Nollywood actor Big Larry has just passed away. What caused his demise is yet to be known. May your soul rest in peace, Big Larry. Nollywood, Asaba mourns.”

The death of Big Larry adds to the series of losses Nollywood has experienced since the beginning of 2024
