Nigerian Filmmakers, Tope Tedela and Akinola Ogunmade-Davies have been selected among the 255 creatives for the 18th edition of Berlinale Talents scheduled to hold from February 22 to 27.
An initiative of the Berlin International Film Festival, the Berlinale Talents is an extensive summit programme of master classes and panel discussions with top-notch experts which offers a range of Project Labs in which filmmakers can further develop and present their own project.
The chosen filmmakers are the only Nigerians selected among the 126 women, 123 men and 6 others from 86 countries around the world.
Tedela is an award-winning actor and producer who has won several awards while Ogunmade-Davies is a British-Nigerian director and visual artist whose works has been profiled by leading publications such as British Vogue and i-D Magazine.
Together the 255 talents will participate in an intensive six-day programme featuring around 100 events with internationally renowned experts and acclaimed Berlinale guests holding workshops and talks, many of which are open to the public.
