NFC announces partnership with Serbian film company

The Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC) has announced a partnership with Serbian film production company, Silver Mountain.

The partnership will see the NFC assisting the Serbian film company in getting Nigerian talents interested in featuring in its movie entitled ‘Life After Death in Serbia’ to be shot in the Eastern European country.

“The film chronicles an incredible story of perseverance and spirit during Europe’s worst post-war nightmare which painstakingly narrates what happened during the Srebrenica genocide,” the NFC said in a statement,

It requested interested artistes to contact film director, Sahin Sisic, for discussions and copy Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC); mdnigerianfilms@gmail.com.

Sisic, the NFC added, can be reached through his E-mail: sahinsisic1@gmail and telephone + 31634418044.

The NFC can also be reached for further clarifications on 08036740997 and 08035046119.

Recall that the NFC began repositioning the film industry by becoming the hub for capacity building and entrepreneurship earlier in February following a directive from the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.

The Minister had also asked the corporation to promote activities that will make Nigeria the centre of film festivals and markets in Africa.

As part of efforts aimed at achieving this, the corporation had a successful Film Business to Business Forum (FB2BF) session at the 2020 Berlin International Film Festival in Germany. It focussed on training and development, content development/broadcasting, film festivals and co-production, cineplexes/community theatres and investment opportunities.

The latest partnership is also part of the repositioning.
