Nigeria’s lead afro-pop artistes, Rema, Flavour and Naira Marley have been announced as headline acts for this year’s edition of Gidi Culture Festival.

In its seventh edition, the festival is set to take place from April 9th to 11th 2020. For the first time since its inception, the festival will run for three days with different headline act for each day.

This year’s theme is dubbed “Bringing it home” and is aimed at celebrating the growing numbers of the diaspora community who will be returning to Lagos during the event.

Mavin’s act, Rema, who had a tremendous 2019 with a Next-rated honour at Headies Awards and a feature on former US President Obama’s summer playlist, will kick off the first day of the festival.

The second day of the event will have hip-highlife singer and instrumentalist, Flavour, delight fans with live performances of some of his hit tracks.

Choosing Naira Marley to wrap up the 3-day fest is no gamble. Having recorded massive airplay of his tracks and followership on his social media platforms coupled with the release of his ‘Lord of Lamba’ album, fans would love to see the Marlian Tesumole live on stage.
