Nigerian singer Shallipopi, has revealed his genre of music.
While asked on the X-Platform about his genre of music, he expressed that his genre of music is both experimental and creative.
He further went on to humorously add that it was mixed with some Afrotalks, Amapiano, Trap, and Evian.
Evian is also a popular slang which he talks about in his songs.
“My genre of music is called experimental and creative type music mixed with Afro talk, mixed with amapiano, mixed with trap, mixed with Evian”
Shallipopi, is a Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter. He signed with Dvpper Music in 2023, and rose to fame with his single “Elon Musk”.
It moderately entered the TurnTable chart, while his debut studio album Presido La Pluto (2023) peaked at number one on the TurnTable Top 50 and debuted atop Apple Music top 100 albums. His second studio album,
Shakespopi (2024), was met with continued success as it became Shallipopi’s second chart-topping album. Its lead single “ASAP” reached number one on the TurnTable Top 100.
