Ace Nigerian rapper, Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI, has announced his exit from record label, Chocolate City.

In the same vein, he has launched his own record label, Incredible Music.

In a video posted on his Instagram page earlier today, the rapper narrated his experience while showing clips of his 13-years journey with the label.

He said: “Choc boys? We gave everything for that brand… for that name. blood, sweat, tears, time, money, loyalty, sacrifice

“I always saw us as growing and adding more artiste and the biggest family in the history of music.

“But sometimes, your best isn’t good enough. My best wasn’t good enough. But it’s alright. So it’s time to say goodbye and do something new.”

MI joined Chocolate City in 2007 and rose to the position of Chief Executive Officer in 2015 – a position he held until 2019, when the record label entered a partnership deal with Warner Music.

Under the Chocolate City record label, he released nine projects, which included five albums, three mix tapes and a playlist.

“Judah The EP”

In a related development, the award-winning rapper also released his 10th studio project, ‘Judah The EP’ under his new record label, Incredible Music.

The 8-tracks project, which features AQ, Buckyraw, Nawe, Alpha Ojini and Kauna, is his first project under the label.

‘Judah The EP’ houses already released tracks such as ‘The Tribe’ and ‘Warrior’ which featured Alpha Ojini and Kauna, respectively.
