Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr, has relished her recent nominations for the 2024 BET Awards.

Recall that Ayra Starr bagged three nominations for this year’s BET Awards including Best New Artist, Best International Act, and Best Her for ‘Commas.’

Expressing delight over her latest achievement on X, Friday, Ayra Starr boasted that three nominations at the BET is “crazy.”

She wrote, “Mobstarrs [collective name for her fans]!!! ‘Commas’ just dropped this year, but it’s already holding it down for Afrobeats with a BET nomination. 3 nominations is crazyy ! Wow”

Starr will face stiff competition from her compatriot Asake, South Africa’s Tyla, French singer Aya Nakamura, British superstar Raye, Brazil’s Karol Conká, and others in the Best International Act category.

She will again lock horns with Tyla and Raye as well as Sexyy Red, Fridayy, October London and others in the Best New Act category.
