Talented actress, producer and creative entrepreneur, Mrs Ego Boyo, has been invited to join the newly rejigged Board of Miss Nigeria Beauty pageant.
The beautiful acress shared the good news on her social media pages, thanking the organisers “for the honour.”
TCN had reported last week that after hosting the pageant for 16 years, Folio Communications has transfered the responsibility of organising the annual beauty pageant to The Audrey Silva Company (TASC), a frontline production firm jointly owned by top director, Mildred Okwo and leading actress, Rita Dominic.
Dominic is married to Fidelis Anosike, the Head hunch of Folio Communications and owner of Daily Times newspapers.
Ego Boyo, an accomplished entertainment stakeholder with over 25 years of experience in the industry, is the founder and Managing Director of Temple Productions and Temple Media, a premium, award-winning media content production firm in Nigeria.
Her dedication extends to various impactful roles, including Founder and Trustee of Tempio Media Advocacy and Chair of the Advisory board for the Lagos Fringe Theatre Festival.
Her passion for education and social impact is further evident as a non-executive director on the board of Lagos Preparatory and Secondary School, Ikoyi, and as a member
of the governing board of the Mirabel Center, Nigeria’s first sexual assault referral center.
Her multifaceted roles not only define her career but also reflect her deep-rooted commitment to making a positive impact in Nigeria and beyond.
Ms. Dominic had said that the Miss Nigeria Pageant serves as a genuine reflection of a unified Nigeria, adding that over the years, it has empowered young women from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and religions.
She had also disclosed that she’s proud of the remarkable work her husband has accomplished with the Miss Nigeria brand over 16 years and that she is thrilled to take on the new role as chief organiser.
