Queen Aisha Salau Audu has emerged as the overall winner of the 2026 edition of the Little Miss Nigeria pageant, clinching the coveted Little Miss Nigeria crown at the grand finale held in Abuja.

Queen Aisha’s emergence followed a keenly contested competition that brought together talented young girls from different parts of Nigeria to showcase their confidence, intelligence, creativity, cultural heritage, poise and stage presence.

As the overall winner, Queen Aisha Salau Audu received a cash prize of ₦1 million and a one-year school scholarship, making her emergence one of the major highlights of the colourful pageant.

Emerging as First Runner-Up was 10-year-old Ambassador Virtuosa Ihechiziterem Ikemezuo-Chintuo, who also won the prestigious Little Miss Nigeria Photogenic crown. Virtuosa received a cash prize of ₦300,000 in recognition of her outstanding performance and photogenic qualities throughout the competition.

Pristine Somadina Chinedu emerged as the Second Runner-Up and was crowned Little Miss Nigeria International, taking home a cash prize of ₦200,000.

Another major highlight of the competition was the emergence of Victory Iniobong Nkankuk as Little Miss Nigeria Ambassador. Victory impressed at every stage of the competition with her confidence, elegance, intelligence, and strong stage presence.

Oroh Orevaoghene, a 10-year-old contestant from Delta State, was crowned Little Miss Nigeria Culture and Tourism following her outstanding performance during the cultural and traditional outings.

Oroh’s remarkable display of Nigerian customs, culture and traditions distinguished her among the contestants and earned her the special crown dedicated to promoting Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and tourism.

The competition featured a series of carefully designed outings which allowed the contestants to demonstrate different aspects of their personalities, talents and abilities. The activities also encouraged the young girls to appreciate Nigeria’s diverse cultural heritage while developing confidence, discipline and effective communication skills.

The organisers said Little Miss Nigeria was conceived as more than a conventional beauty pageant, describing it as a platform for discovering, nurturing and celebrating the potential of young Nigerian girls.

According to the organisers, the pageant seeks to promote confidence, intelligence, cultural consciousness, talent development, leadership and positive values among children while providing them with opportunities to express themselves and represent their communities.

The event also featured shout-outs and goodwill messages from previous winners, who encouraged the newly crowned queens to embrace the responsibilities that come with their various titles and to use the platform to inspire other young girls.

The organisers expressed appreciation to the parents and guardians of the contestants, judges, sponsors, partners, supporters and other stakeholders whose contributions helped make the 2026 edition a success.

With Queen Aisha Salau Audu now wearing the coveted Little Miss Nigeria 2026 crown, alongside the newly crowned First Runner-Up, Second Runner-Up, and other titleholders, the organisers said the new queens would serve as positive ambassadors for the values, aspirations, and cultural richness celebrated by the Little Miss Nigeria platform.

The grand finale underscored the pageant’s commitment to creating opportunities for young Nigerian girls to shine, build confidence, and discover their potential, while celebrating Nigeria’s beauty and diversity.
