The trip to Dubai last week was not just a visit but an extremely great exploit.
Between 24th November and 1st of December 2021 was really a very busy period as representatives of Eko Destination Ltd and Epe Alaro Tourism, a marketing brand of the Epe Local Government strategically stormed the land of Dubai with more focus on the ongoing Expo.
Participating in an Expo allows countries to create a fleeting miniature world 🌎, a microcosm of global progress and dialogue.
Expos provide a unique and international stage to engage in cultural diplomacy and interact with the host country, other participants, potential tourists, trade partners and investors.
Around the world, Tourism is vital for the success of many economies.
There are several benefits of tourism on host destinations, it boots the revenue of the economy, creates thousands of jobs, develops the infrastructures of a country, and plants a sense of cultural exchange between foreigners and citizens.
As the Western nations are totally inward-looking now, Nigeria must not be left behind, it’s high time we stepped up our games.
DESTINATION_LAGOS as our major brand and #EPE_ALARO_TOURISM one of our projects got great attentions of the world through our aggressive and systematic approach of marketing these destinations all through our stay in Dubai.
The Dubai Expo 2020, with the theme: “Connecting Minds, Creating the future” was well defined by Eko Destination Ltd and Epe Alaro Tourism during their participation and this got them a plaque each.
The fascinating aspect of our trip was the endorsements and interest of some tourists to visit Nigeria for the first time with Lagos as their first choice come 2022 while one of the countries met already got back to us to create a sister-city relationship.
A lot of places of interest were visited and a boat cruise ended our trip which was handled by our darling sister Bisoye, the CEO of Keras Travel & Tours.
Appreciation to Prince Idris Animashaun (Bobo) for a perfect representation.
Thanks too to our dear Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu through the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture under the care of the Honorable Commissioner, Mrs Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf recently created a wider platforms for Tourism development in the State.
Let’s key into this and make the industry more appealing and productive especially at the grassroots.
