Burna Boy’s New Album, ‘Twice As Tall’, Set For August 14 Release

Nigeria’s afrofusion singer and songwriter, Burna Boy, has announced August 14 as his fifth studio album’s release date.

The Grammy-nominated artiste’s new album, ‘Twice As Tall’ features guest artistes like Youssou N’Dour, Stormzy, Sauti Sol, Naughty By Nature and Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

The 15-tracker was largely recorded in Lagos during the lockdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic and has been described as a “melange of sounds”.

Alongside Burna Boy, the album has as executive producers American rapper, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Burna’s mother, Bosede Ogulu. Producers on the album includes LeriQ, Telz, P2J, Rexxie, Mike Dean, Timbaland, Skread, DJDS and Jae5.

‘Twice As Tall’ will be accompanied by a comic book to “put the project in perspective and some insight into the album title and why I chose it,” Burna Boy announced via his twitter handle.
