After 14 days of residing in Big Brother’s House, BBNaija Shine Ya Eye housemates, Yerins, Niyi and Beatrice have been evicted from the ongoing sixth edition of the reality show.

The show’s host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced this on Sunday during the live eviction show.

Yerins was the first contestant to be evicted from the reality TV show. His eviction was followed by that of Niyi and Beatrice.

Before the eviction event, Yerins had told Biggie, “It’s going to be emotional for me to leave the house if evicted today.”

While it was certain that at least one of the Housemates up for eviction was going to leave the show, nothing prepared neither the housemates nor the viewers that four new housemates would be introduced to the show after a fortnight.

The four new Housemates who were introduced into the game on Sunday night have had to spend these past two weeks in isolation before they were ushered into the BBNaija house.

With the new additions, the 23 Housemates will continue to slug it out for the ₦90 million grand prize – the highest in the show’s history. The 10-week show is expected to run till October 3, 2021.

Meet the new Housemates:
