BBNaija S9: ‘Wizkid No Longer Relevant, Rema Now Bigger Than Him’ – Chinwe

Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ contestant Chinwe has declared that Grammy-winning afrobeats star, Wizkid, is “no longer relevant” in the music industry.

Chinwe made the controversial statement during a chat with fellow housemates on Saturday, drawing comparisons between Wizkid and the fast-rising afrobeats star, Rema.

She claimed that Rema, who has been making waves internationally, is now bigger than the Starboy boss.

“Wizkid is no longer relevant, when was the last time he sold out a show? Even Rema is doing better than him,” Chinwe stated, sparking debates among her housemates and viewers alike.

She also praised Burna Boy, another Nigerian music heavyweight, for maintaining his superstar status.

“Currently, Wizkid isn’t doing great. He has to prove himself and earn his status as a superstar. If it’s Burna Boy, I won’t be having this conversation. Burna Boy is doing well. He’s proving himself,” she added.
