BBNaija: Journey Ends For Ozo, Trikytee As Biggie Carries Out “Shocking Eviction” Penultimate Week

Lockdown housemates, Ozo and Trikytee, have been evicted from this year’s Big Brother Naija reality show.

The show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during the Sunday evening live eviction show, announced the evicted duo as the 14th and 15th housemates to exit Biggie’s house.

Big Brother had hinted viewers to expect “the most shocking eviction” hours before the commencement of the live eviction show.

On Monday, Biggie had introduced an interesting eviction nomination twist which had the housemates, with the exception of the Head of House (HoH), grouped into two teams and instructed to deliberate on nominating two members of the opposing group.

This process saw Laycon, Dorathy, Ozo and Trikytee nominated for possible eviction. Prior to Monday’s twist, housemates shared their eviction nominations exclusively with Big Brother in the diary room.

Majority of the housemates, during their weekly dairy session, had said they would prefer Laycon and Trikytee to be evicted if nominations had followed the previous process.

However, Trikytee and Ozo recorded the least viewers’ votes of the week while Laycon and Dorathy were declared safe.

Trikytee told Ebuka in a post-eviction chat that he felt his eviction “was like hanging on a thread each week, but he had faith”.

For Ozo who had drawn close to Dorathy since the show premiered in July, he said he was happy that she survived eviction “even at his expense”.

He added that he would like to go into sports development in order to be able to create jobs for people.

Ozo won a 2020 IVM Caris car during the week after he emerged winner of the Innoson Vehicles Memory Challenge.

Ozo and Trikytee join Lilo, Ka3na, Eric, Tochi, Kaisha, Praise, Tolanibaj, Wathoni, BrightO, Lucy, Prince and Kiddwaya who have bid farewell to the show. Erica was disqualified for disregard of the show’s rules.

This latest evictions hand finalist spot to Nengi who already earned hers due to the HoH immunity as well as lovebirds, Neo and Vee, who earned their spots by tactically surviving nomination. Laycon and Dorathy join them after surviving week 9 evictions.

The winner of the Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ edition will be announced on Sunday September 27, 2020
