Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has made her fans proud by becoming the first Nigerian woman to receive a RIAA Diamond single for her track “Santa.”

At just 22 years old, she achieved her first RIAA Latin Diamond Certification for this song, which features Puerto Rican artist Rauw Alejandro and Jamaican singer Rvssian.

Recall that the prestigious certification is given to artists whose songs have sold over 10 million copies in the United States.

Her fans were fascinated by the song’s words and tone, which topped the music charts. One of her fans @afholashade was happy for her and she commented, “The first African woman to do so.”

The singer, known for rocking small clothes, showed off her talent as she sang and played the keyboard to the delight of her fans.

The Rush singer’s coworkers were also impressed with her and praised her when she shared her performance video on Instagram.

Read some comments below:

@ladipoe: “Not every fact is the truth.”

@cuppymusic: “Pure God-given talent.”

@josealabite: “Here you have a real singer. Without auto-tune, singing in a voice without music, intonating perfectly and accompanying the tone with the piano played by herself. A true artist.”

@ayrastarrcentral: “We’re about to be blessed.”

@epianoh:”I just dropped my version y’all!!! Enjoy.”

@chrisdgreat529: “Songs sang with minor chords sounds more sweeter.”

@ntaimokone: “Piano out? Ohh ladies & gentlemen we got a global hit.”
