Asake, Burna Boy, Rema Clinch Nominations for 2024 Brit Awards [FULL LIST]

As African music continues to enjoy commercial success and recognition internationally, Nigerian music superstars – Burna Boy, Asake, and Rema – have earned nominations for the 2024 Brit Awards.

Burna Boy and Asake were nominated in the Best International Artist category alongside American superstars Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Sza, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lana Del Rey.

Rema gets the nod for Best International Song for his hit single ‘Calm Down’. Cameroonian-American singer Libianca is also nominated for her hit single ‘People’ while South African fast-rising sensation Tyla earns a nomination for her hit record ‘Water’ in the same category.

Presented by British Phonographic Industry (BPI), the 44th edition of the Brit Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday March 2, 2024 at The O2 Arena in London.
