The Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation, Otunba Abiodun Ajiboye, has expressed optimism that cultural orientation will play a pivotal role in Nigeria’s creative evolution.
Ajiboye, who was recently appointed Chief Executive of the Institute, stressed this during a courtesy visit to the Minister of of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy, Hajia Hannatu Musawa, according to a statement on NICO’s website.
“The meeting was a vibrant exchange of ideas, fostering a commitment to elevate Nigeria’s cultural landscape,” the statement added.

During the courtesy visit, the NICO helmsman expressed his eagerness to collaborate with the Ministry, emphasizing the pivotal role of cultural orientation in the nation’s creative evolution.
Hajia Musawa, in turn, lauded NICO’s dedication to preserving and promoting Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.
“Together, they envisioned a harmonious partnership that would amplify the impact of arts and culture on the nation’s creative economy.
