The singer made this known on Friday, in a statement issued by his management on his Instagram page to cancel all his upcoming tours.
Billy Joel was diagnosed with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus, NPH, a brain condition that occurs after cerebrospinal fluid builds up in the skull and presses on the brain.
The 76-year-old according to his management, the worsening symptoms have affected his vision, hearing, and balance after recent performance.
โUnder his doctorโs instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period.
โYour refund will automatically be processed back to original payment used for the purchase of the ticketsโ, the statement stated.
