Adekunle Gold Marks 10 Years Of Music Career

by The Culture Newspaper December 16, 2024
Nigerian artiste Adekunle Kosoko, professionally known as Adekunle Gold, has reached a milestone in his music career, marking 10 years of his career success.

On his Instagram page, he shared his thoughts on his journey, highlighting the importance of faith, growth, and perseverance.

Adekunle Gold recalled a difficult period in his life when he was struggling to find direction, having lost his job and facing uncertainty.

He stated that, it was during that time that he made the decision to pursue music, a choice that ultimately had a profound impact on his life.

Gold offered words of encouragement to young aspiring artists, highlighting the value of starting small, being brave, and taking the first step towards pursuing one’s dreams.

He wrote,”10 years! A journey of faith, growth, and hard work.

In 2014, I wrote Sade at one of my lowest moments. I had just lost my job, and life felt uncertain. But I made a choice to give music everything I had.

That choice changed my life.

If you have a dream, believe in it. Work for it. Start small, start scared, but just start.

Don’t let fear stop you. Keep growing, keep trying, and keep believing. Your journey is yours to own. Do it afraid, and do it with all your heart.

Thank you BFF for your unwavering love for me. All my love.”
