One good turn deserves another. Three years after the Obafemi Awolowo University’s School of Music, the Department of Music inducted him as a Fellow superstar, Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, has reciprocated the gesture.
On Tuesday, March 15, the ‘African Queen’ crooner inaugurated the multimillion music studio he built for the Music Department.
In an Instagram post, the Hypertek Digital boss wrote, “Some time ago, I was honoured by the Great OAU as I was inducted into the School of Music as a Fellow. Today, I just commissioned the multimillion studio I built for the Music Department in OAU, Ile-Ife. Up next is Benue State University.” Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede, appreciated 2baba’s kind gesture. He said that courtesy of 2Baba, OAU now has the best recording studio in any Nigerian university.
