It was all glitz and glam as EbonyLife Films presented the cast for its latest movie, ‘Your Excellency’, to the media in Lagos.

The star-studded movie is actress, Funke Akindele’s directorial debut. There was huge interest in how she managed to direct and star in the film, especially as it is her first. Also present was Akin Lewis who played the Chief Olalekan Ajadi role – a billionaire and failed presidential candidate, who is obsessed with Donald Trump.

Other cast present included: Kemi ‘Lala’ Akindoju, Eku Edewor, Emmanuel ‘EmmaOhMaGod’, Alexx Ekubo, Deyemi Okanlawon, Ini Dima-Okojie, Chioma ‘Chigul’ Omeruah, Ikechukwu Onunaku and Helen Paul.

While addressing the Press, Executive Producer, Mo Abudu said: “We’re so appreciative of this wonderful media support and the attendance of all our actors; especially as they all have such busy schedules. Also, I’m grateful to our sponsors, Guinness Gold, Bollinger and Coca-Cola, for making this such a special occasion for all our guests”.

The movie tells the story of a bumbling, billionaire businessman and failed presidential candidate, who becomes a credible contender – all through the power of social media.

‘Your Excellency’ will start showing in cinemas across Nigeria from December 13, 2019.
