Vzhun Films release ‘Kpali’ trailer

Ahead of its December 20th release date, production company, Vzhun Films, has started titillating movie buffs with the official trailer of ‘Kpali’, its debut movie.

‘Kpali’, which would be distributed by Genesis Pictures, features actors including Ini Dima-Okojie, Nkem Owoh, Linda Ejiofor, Kunle Remi and Gloria Anozie-Young. among others.

Dima-Okojie and Owoh serve a moment to look forward to in the official trailer with the amusing banter between father and daughter. It is a joy to watch, giving the viewer an exciting tease.

‘Kpali’ centres around Amaka (Dima-Okojie), a Nigerian professional who works in an investment bank in London. Her UK employer suddenly has to trim its workforce, and she may lose her job. It gets complicated as her Work Visa is about to expire.

In a twist, Amaka’s employer gives her a lifeline to win a big account with a Lagos-based, Nigerian company. She must head to Nigeria with a colleague of hers on this desperate mission. But there is a caveat, the deal must be wrapped up in 30 days or else she loses everything.

Commenting on the movie, producer, Emem Ema, described it as the real sauce of the yuletide season. “We are proud of the work that we put into ‘Kpali’, and we can feel the anticipation already. It was amazing working with the fine set of actors that brought the story to life. ‘Kpali’ is that feel-good movie Nigerians will love to see over and again in the good company of friends and family. Every family has that Amaka story that they can relate with,” she said.
