One of the foremost arts and cultural centres in Lagos, the Terra Kulture Arena, has announced the temporary suspension of its operations due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
A statement signed by its management said the closure is the first since it began operating in 2003.
“We are unfortunately leaving Lagos without the spice and flavour it brings to the city, without the lights that beams the colour of its people, without the beat that gives the city its rhythm and without TERRA KULTURE,” the statement said.
According to the statement, Terra Kulture has been consistent in its service to both Nigerians and foreigners as it has been a destination of choice for art enthusiasts.

However, it urged everyone to stay safe and follow the advice of health officials and the government by practicing social distancing and meeting high personal hygiene standards.
