Taylor Swift becomes first female artist to surpass 100 billion streams on Spotify.

Famous American singer, Taylor Swift, has made another streaming history.

This is as the multiple Grammy-winning singer became the first female artist in history to earn 100 billion streams across all credits on Spotify.

A check on her Spotify account by DAILY POST shows that she has surpassed 100 billion streams, making her the first female artist to achieve the feat.

According to the music statistics monitoring platform, Chart Masters, Taylor Swift is the second biggest earner on Spotify with $7,713,106 in the last 12 months. The platform’s biggest earner is Canadian rapper Drake with $7,717,904.

Recall that last year, Forbes declared Swift as the first musician to reach billionaire status based solely on her music and performances.

Earnings from streaming royalties contributed significantly to her $1.6 billion fortune.
