Reactions as Omotola Jalade Denies Knowing Eniola Badmus

Mixed reactions have begun to trail Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde’s claim of not knowing fellow actress, Eniola Badmus.

Omotola had asked when she was requested to make a shout out for Eniola Badmus’ TV outfit at a recent movie premiere in Lagos: “Oh Eniola Badmus, that’s an actress isn’t she?”

This comment hasn’t gone down well with Eniola Badmus who took to social media to say that it is a way of telling her to be more hardworking.

She took to her Instagram handle to react, saying: “I will work harder to the point that I will need no introduction. Thank you for reminding me to put in more work.”

The post which showed Omotola’s interview clip being played on a personal computer has since generated over 1,500 comments from fans and colleagues.

While a section of the commentators opined that Omotola’s response was misconstrued, others felt it was a deliberate attempt to ridicule Eniola.

Fellow Nollywood actress, Peggy Ovire said: “Babe But that’s not how I interpreted this video, she was just surprised that there was Eniola Badmus tv @eniola_badmus.”

“Poor interpretation of Omotola’s remark. She expressed surprise at Eniola owning a TV; never said dint know u,” @lufemi_ajasa commented.

“Honey you are doing fine. Your hustle is pure. You have gone places, your name opens doors, keep your head up,” actress, Yvonne Jegede remarked.
