The Felabration Organising Committee has announced the line-up of artistes expected to perform at the musical concert of this year’s edition of the festival.
The week-long event, which commenced on Monday October 9, 2023, is a celebration of Fela’s legacy as the Afrobeat genre creator and a renowned human rights activist.
Themed ‘Question Jam Answer,’ to reflect the title of a classic record composed by Fela and released in 1972, organisers say the song fits right into the socio-political mood of the country after the intriguing general election, where people are searching for answers to questions asked.
The annual musical feast is hosting daily concerts simultaneously at the new Afrikan Shrine in Ikeja and the Freedom Park on Broad Street, Lagos.
