All roads now lead to Awka as Anambra State prepares for a spectacular end-of-year celebration, with some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars set to light up the Solution Fun City, tomorrow evening, Tuesday, 30 December.

The much-anticipated concert, headlined by Afro-highlife icon Flavour, forms a major highlight of the December–January festivities tagged ‘Onwa Dezemba’, a vibrant Yuletide panorama organised by the Anambra State Government.

Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo confirmed on Monday evening that the artistes have already arrived in the state capital. He made the disclosure during his appearance at the Awka Township Stadium, where a novelty football match between former Rangers International FC players and the Anambra All-Stars Football Club took place as part of the Onwa Dezemba celebrations. The ex-Rangers stars emerged victorious, rounding off the event with a trophy and cash awards.

According to the Governor, the stage is set for a truly memorable night. “Flavour and the other acts are already in town,” he announced, assuring Ndi Anambra and visitors alike of a mega concert befitting the season.

In a promotional clip already gaining traction online, the Anambra-born superstar described the concert as a personal homecoming, signalling his readiness to thrill the audience at the Solution Fun City thusly:

“Yes o!… Anambra, Ijele is coming back home… Solution Fun City!”

Flavour who dubbed the outing, “Anambra mega fiesta” has promised an unforgettable performance, as ‘Onwa Dezemba’ continues to blend culture, sport, music and communal celebration — reinforcing Anambra’s reputation as the true destination for a joyful and stylish Yuletide experience.
