Nollywood Actor Clem Ohameze Breaks Silence On Alleged Family Neglect

by The Culture Newspaper August 18, 2025
by The Culture Newspaper August 18, 2025
Veteran Nollywood actor Clem Ohameze has taken decisive action against a Facebook user named Okwulora for spreading false information about his health and family.

A social media user, Okwulora, had claimed that Clem had suffered a stroke and was abandoned by his sons, while his daughter took care of him.

However, Clem Ohameze has taken to social media to categorically deny these allegations, stating that he does not have three sons and has never granted any interview making such claims.

In a tearful video, the actor expressed frustration over the constant circulation of false news about his health, which has caused unnecessary distress to his family.

He stated that legal actions have been taken against Okwulora, emphasising the damage caused by the false allegations and his determination to protect his reputation.

“I called my friend who is a director in the DSS and I have initiated a police case, this is a cybercrime. If you want cheap popularity go get it somewhere else because I will not allow some idiot tarnish my image because you want to attract traffic to your page.

“The other time, it was that I was dead, now it is that I had a stroke, but who did I grant the interview to? Do I have three sons? What nonsense is this?

“I believe he is satisfied. I had to call my children, and fortunately, it was only my daughter who heard about it. Why would people do this to me?” he said.
