Nigerian superstar Tems has announced South African singer Elaine as the opening act for her Johannesburg concert on 20 March 2025 at The Dome in Nasrec.
Tems, a Grammy award-winning artist, is busy with her Born In The Wild Tour.
Elaine is known for songs such as You’re The One and Risky, having released her latest full-length record, Stone Cold Heart, last year October.
According to a press release, the SA singer “became the first female independent artist to top the Apple Music Sub-Saharan African charts and has earned numerous accolades, including BET and AFRIMMA awards”.
Tems is known for songs such as Free Mind and Higher and has collaborated with artists like Future and Drake.
She has racked up eight Grammy nominations and got her first win in 2023 for her collaboration with the two rappers on WAIT FOR YOU in the category of Best Melodic Rap Performance.
