by Olamilekan Okeowo January 23, 2020

Leading Travel and Tours Company, Samap Travels and Tours Limited has reviewed a list of Best Places To Visit in 2020 and handy tips of when to travel to accommodate an individual’s budget.
According to a statement by the company, the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, Japan, Salzburg Festival in Austria which is marking its centenary anniversary are some of the destinations that any individual who is interested in destinations other than his or her own, expand their knowledge of our planet and celebrate the beauty of human accomplishment and natural wonders all over the world should consider visiting.
“If travelling to charming and culturally diverse destinations is on your to-do list for the New Year and the fresh decade, then keep this list handy. We are travelling to see destinations other than our own, expand our knowledge of our planet and celebrate the beauty of human accomplishment and natural wonders all over the world. If budget is your number one priority for travel in 2020, it behooves you to consider flying in winter months or book your flights at least three months before you travel” the statement read.
Leading the list of the must-see place according to Samap Travels is Tokyo due to the forthcoming 2020 Summer Olympic Games
“With Tokyo gearing up to host the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, Japan has been hard at work preparing for the influx of tourists, improving its already top-notch infrastructure. And if a trip to Japan has been on your list for a while, keep in the mind that the 2020 Summer Olympics take place in Tokyo this year from July 24 through August 9, and there will be packages and tours heading that way” the statement read.
According to the Travels Agency, the Salzburg Festival in Austria [July 18 – August 30] comes next.  The Festival is turning 100 and is one of the world’s greatest classical music shindigs, the festival is always a riotous feast of opera, classical music and drama.
The statement further stated that Italy continues its reign as the
global favorite, as well as the top spot for solo travelers while Croatia heads the list of emerging destinations, attracting a buzz due to the Game of Thrones effect as well as its rich history and convenience to other major European hubs.
“In a general survey, Antarctica takes the top spot for adventure travel in 2020, with Greece showing up as the top destinations for millennials as well as second on the global destinations list and a third-place for honeymoons. Bhutan also topped the list of countries to visit in 2020, including England and North Macedonia in third”.
Destinations topping the list in the United States and Canada are Athens, Georgia; Baltimore, Maryland; and Newfoundland, Canada. Sicily’s Aeolian Islands top the list for destinations to head for in Europe, followed by Albania and Andalusia, in the southern part of Spain.
The little two-island nation of São Tomé and Príncipe, in West Africa’s Gulf of Guinea, is an equatorial biodiversity hot spot. Despite being an eco-friendly paradise, and one of Africa’s most stable countries, it attracts only 30,000 visitors a year, making it one of the world’s least-visited countries.
The review also made space for Jamaica as the country’s favourite son, the iconic reggae musician, Bob Marley, who would have turned 75 on February 6.
‘The fans of Marley’s music and message can commune with the legendary artist at his former home, now the Bob Marley Museum. Marley’s Jamaica is a living, beating heart, overflowing with love, pain, history and cultural significance’
