Lagos Endorses Children’s Pageant As EIS World Sets August 29 Grand Finale

The EIS World’s Little Mr and Miss Africa Nigeria 2026 pageant has gotten a major lift after receiving official endorsement from the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

In a letter dated August 6, 2026, the Ministry recognized the pageant for its credibility, cultural value, and impact. While it stated that no financial support would be provided, it granted EIS World permission to use the Lagos State Government logo and acknowledge the endorsement in all approved publicity materials.

The grand finale is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, and will be led by Queen Adakole Stephen, National Director of Little Mr and Miss Africa Nigeria and CEO of EIS World.

Queen Adakole described the endorsement as a major milestone.

“This endorsement is more than recognition of an event. It is recognition of the vision behind EIS World. We are grateful to the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture for believing in what we are building.

Little Mr and Miss Africa Nigeria is raising confident, responsible and culturally aware young ambassadors who will proudly represent Nigeria and Africa on global stages,” she said.

She added that the backing strengthens the organisation’s commitment to empowering children through leadership training, mentorship, public speaking, community service, talent development, and cultural exchange.

Since it began, EIS World has positioned Little Mr and Miss Africa Nigeria as more than a pageant. The platform has produced ambassadors who have represented Nigeria at international competitions and cultural events across Africa, promoting values of confidence, discipline, intelligence, and service.

The 2026 edition is expected to draw contestants, parents, schools, corporate brands, government agencies, diplomats, media, fashion stakeholders, and international guests.

Pre-finale activities will include leadership sessions, cultural displays, talent showcases, runway training, community projects, and advocacy campaigns designed to equip contestants with skills beyond the stage.

With Lagos State’s endorsement, organizers say this year’s event will further cement Lagos’ reputation as a hub for cultural tourism, youth development, and world-class family entertainment.
