U.S.-based German singer, Kim Petras has cancelled all her festival performances this summer.

The Grammy winner said she took the decision following medical advice.

She explained that she is going “through some health issues” but didn’t disclose the ailment.

On her Instagram page on Wednesday, she wrote: “I’m devastated to be writing this but I’m going through some health issues and under medical advice I had to make the hard decision to not perform at festivals this summer.”

The singer promised to be “back better than ever very soon.”

Kim Petras was billed to perform at Primavera Sound Festival in Spain on May 29, Mighty Hoopla in the United Kingdom on June 1, Primavera Sound Porto in Portugal on June 6, LadyLand in New York City on June 28 and Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle in July.
