Ja Rule Deems 50 Cent A “Fat Liar” Over Claim He Bought Out Front Rows Of His Concert

Rapper Ja Rule is challenging a longstanding rumour involving his longtime rival, 50 Cent, and he’s putting money on the line to prove it false.

The rapper is offering $10,000 to anyone who can produce evidence that 50 Cent purchased hundreds of tickets to one of his concerts to leave the front rows empty—a claim that has fueled their decades-long feud.

The drama reignited on Sunday (December 29) when Ja Rule declared his New Year’s resolution on social media: “My new year resolution is to be PETTY.” A fan replied, urging him to take aim at 50 Cent by referencing the infamous empty seats prank.

Ja Rule fired back, labelling the story a lie. “You believe this dumb s###???” he tweeted, accompanied by cap emojis. He reiterated his previous challenge, offering $10,000 to anyone who can provide footage or a photo proving the prank took place. “What city/venue did this said show take place??? @50cent is a fat f###### LIAR,” Ja added.

The rapper also mocked an unflattering photo of 50 Cent and expressed excitement about a possible response from his rival.

The rumor originated in 2018 when 50 Cent claimed on Instagram that he bought 200 tickets to a Ja Rule concert in Arlington, Texas, through Groupon for $3,000, ensuring the seats remained empty. He later doubled down on the story during a recent interview with Big Boy TV, saying he purchased seats in the first four rows as a prank, describing it as “fun” and adding, “I wanted him to feel like he needed to connect with the crowd, and they were four or five rows back.”

The feud between the two NYC rappers has spanned decades, with both exchanging countless public insults and stunts. Ja Rule’s latest challenge adds another chapter to their legendary rivalry. Whether the truth behind the ticket-buying prank will ever surface remains to be seen, but for now, the petty war rages on.
