The CEO and Co-founder of online streaming platform, iRokoTV, Jason Njoku and his wife, Mary, have tested positive for Coronavirus.
Jason disclosed this via his twitter handle, @JasonNjoku, on Wednesday when he shared a picture of himself taking the COVID-19 test.
He captioned the photo: “My enemies are hard at work in 2020. Mrs Njoku and I tested positive for Covid19. I’m not feeling great but Mary is well. Literally no idea how I caught it. But we shall see this pass too.”
The comment section of the post has since garnered over a thousand reactions from his followers, wishing the couple a speedy recovery.
Earlier in the year, Njoku had revealed how he was tested four times to get a positive before eventually recovering from the virus.
With this development, he joins a list of popular Nigerians including Peter Okoye, Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde, Azadus, Davido’s partner, Chioma, who have tested positive for the virus.
While public health authorities have warned that a second wave of the virus is likely, Nigeria has confirmed 62,224 cases of the Coronavirus, with 57,916 cases discharged and 1,135 deaths recorded.
