Gov Aiyedatiwa Endorses Yankee Entertainment, Pledges More Partnership

A new chapter has begun for Ondo State’s creative economy and tourism landscape as Ondo Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, officially endorsed Yankee Entertainment, recognising its growing legacy and powerful role in reviving Nigeria’s entertainment and cultural identity.

In a landmark meeting, the Governor who attended the just concluded NaijaRootFest in Akure organised by Yankee Entertainment pledged full support for all upcoming Yankee Entertainment events scheduled from June to December 2025.

According to the CEO of Yankee Entertainment, Mallam Yankee: “This endorsement is more than symbolic as it marks the administration’s clear intent to position Ondo State as a vibrant hub for tourism, creativity, and business investment,” he said.

According to Mallam Yankee, also known as jagaban of entertainment, “Through music, comedy, arts, and cultural showcases, the goal is to attract local and international visitors while creating new economic opportunities for residents and entrepreneurs across the state.

“We are honored by this partnership and energized by the Governor’s vision. Together, we are building an Ondo State that thrives on creativity, celebrates culture, and welcomes the world.”

Restating the readiness for the Ondo events, Mallam Yankee said, “The countdown has begun. Ondo is ready. The wave is here,” he said.
