Funke Akindele Shatters Record As Behind The Scenes Grosses Over N2 billion

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has shattered records with her 2025 Cinema movie, Behind The Scenes.

The box office Queen, via her Instagram page, announced that her latest movie has grossed N2,100,000,000 in a month.

Expressing excitement, Akindele noted how records are milestones, not the mission. She credited her big win to God being in motion and expressed gratitude to Him.

Funke said the lessons remain unchanged, as she serves the story, respects the audience, refines the craft, and lets the work earn its applause.

“Records are milestones, not the mission. From A Trībe Called Judah grossing 1B to Behind The Scenes crossing 2B and still counting, this is God in motion. And I’m most grateful to my maker and return all the glory to him.

“The lesson remains unchanged: serve the story, respect the audience, refine the craft, and let the work earn its applause”.
