… offers free waiver to submit to the Sumatera International Film Festival (SIFF)

In its eighth edition, the Filmmakers of The Year Festival Festival (FYFF) is offering filmmakers who submit their films a free waiver to submit to the Sumatera International Film Festival (SIFF).

The FYFF was established to celebrate filmmaking in general. It aims to honor and promote films that have won awards and at excellent quality carrying unique methods of storytelling, produced with exceptional technique and crafted with passion and love for the betterment of filmmaking.

“If your film has previously won awards or you feel your film is good enough to compete with the winning filmmakers from around the world, then this Film Festival is for you,” the festival said in a newsletter made available to TCN on Thursday.

The festival accepts feature and short film, and documentary (any length), as well as newcomers to star their excellent films.

Similarly, it recognises all the hard work every department contributes to making a film.

“With an all-in-one package, juries of the festival will value various performances such as directing, cinematography, editing, performance, story, acting, sound, production design, costume design, music, etc,” the newsletter added.

Filmmakers of the Year Film Festival (FYFF) will present an award for the overall winner as Filmmaker of the Year 2019. Also, Filmmaker of the Year Platinum Award, Filmmaker of the Year Gold Award, and Filmmaker of the Year Silver Award will be also presented to the winners.

However, filmmakers are encouraged to submit through Film Festivals Alliance (FFA) and receive the benefit from the Money Back Guarantee Program.
