Following a successful kidney transplant surgery, popular Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, has been discharged from the hospital.
The rapper took to his verified Instagram page on Thursday to announce that he is back home.
“It’s good to be back home. To God be the glory. Alhamdullah,” the caption of a picture he shared read.
TCN had reported that the rapper underwent surgery after he was diagnosed with a kidney problem in May. His management later revealed that the surgery was successful with his wife being the donor.
Similarly, veteran disc jockey and music executive, Oluwaforijimi Adewale Amu, popularly known as DJ Jimmy Jatt, recently announced that he got “a second chance at life” after a chronic kidney failure compelled him to undergo a transplant.
Jimmy Jatt who is now partially based in the United States of America says he wishes to be the face of kidney disease survival in Nigeria.
